Charlize Theron, Jessica Chastain, Berenice Bejo Sparkle in Cartier Bling at Palm Springs Gala
Cartier has a serious lock on red carpet jewels at the Palm Springs Gala. Why? Because the jewelry company has been a sponsor of the star-studded event for five years.
Usually you hear many names -- Harry Winston, Lorraine Schwartz, Van Clef & Arpel -- when actresses are asked about their jewelry on a red carpet. But at the 2012 Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala on Saturday (Jan. 7) one name was on almost everyone's lips. Cartier.
The jewelry company sponsored the festival for the 5th year in a row and offered their jewels to the award-winners and presenters. Who could say no, right? Only Octavia Spencer -- who wore Neil Lane jewelry to accent her David Meister gown -- and Michelle Williams -- who wore Prada shoes, Forevermark's white and yellow gold diamond pave stacked bangles to accent her stunning embellished Miu Miu frock -- were Cartier-free zones.

Charlize Theron, winner of the Ensemble Award for Young Adult, wore Cartier's yellow gold and black onyx panther bangle with yellow gold and diamond drop earrings to accessorize her sharp shouldered black Lanvin dress. Olivia Wilde -- who presented the award to the Adult cast -- wore a sexy Monique Lhuiller black dress and indulged in Cartier's platinum and black onyx pave panther head ring, a platinum pave diamond and black onyx Love bracelet, with another platinum diamond, and black onyx panther link bracelet.
Jessica Chastain wore an emerald Prabul Gurang dress accessorized with platinum black onyx and rubellite drop earrings, and black and platinum diamond Hypnose ring. Glenn Close chose a pair of sapphire and platinum diamond drop earrings and a platinum panther link diamond bracelet.
French actress Berenice Bejo, who presented the Sonny Bono Visionary Award to her husband and director of The Artist, Michel Hazanavicius , wore a pair of Cartier's platinum diamond, and black onyx orchid earrings with a platinum and diamond ring to accent her striking Prada orange and black dress.
Even the soiree's long-time hostess, Mary Hart, wore a Cartier platinum and diamond ring. What, no Cartier gift bag?
