Chelsea Handler Calls Angelina Jolie 'The Opposite of a Girl's Girl'

Typically uncensored in her May cover story for the women's magazine More, Handler offers her thoughts on Jolie, Whitney Houston and her own addictions.

Chelsea Handler More Magazine - P 2012

When Chelsea Handler shows up on the cover of a women's magazine -- as she is on the May cover of More, the magazine for women over age 40 -- you know you're not going to get your run of the mill "I'm feeling better than ever about myself" kind of standard pat celebrity interview. She drops a number of barbs in this one, most notably, a few negative words about Angelina Jolie. Given Chelsea's friendship with Jennifer Aniston, this isn't earth shattering -- but the fact that she never gives up her tirade about Jolie is pretty amazing. She seems to be in it for the long haul.

STORY: Jacob & Co Offers Engagement Ring Almost Identical to Angelina Jolie's

She calls Jolie "the opposite of a girl's girl. You just know as a woman when you see another woman if that's a woman you can trust. She doesn't strike me as someone I would have a close friendship with."

On Chelsea's famed drinking and vodka consumption: "I don't drink as much as I should -- or as much as people think I do. It's more for diet than the actual drinking thing."

On her relationship with famed Chateau Marmont and The Standard Hotelier Andre Balasz: "We just got back together literally yesterday. We had dated for nine months, a long distance relationship with all the stresses and traveling and running around. Balasz came to me and said, 'I think we have to try to make this work again.' And I agreed because we're madly in love."

On Whitney Houston: "Well, that's an issue about years and years of abuse. I don't ever want to abuse something so much that I'm forced to give it up. And that's why I'm only going to have seven margaritas after this interview."

Her Dirty Secret -- She's a Bookworm: "Right now I'm reading Catherine the Great. I may not be the smartest person in the room, but I am the quickest."
