Christina Ricci Designs Makeup Bag for Make Up For Ever
The actress is using her design skills in between acting gigs.
These days, actresses have fashion and beauty ambassadorships as options for ways to make money -- and glamorous appearances -- in between acting gigs. Some of them do major fashion or beauty ads and commercials, but there are other opportunities as well. For instance, Christina Ricci has designed a Make Up For Ever bag that will be debuted Friday at The Grove as part of the brand's "Make Up For Ever Remix Tour," and the actress will be along for the ride.
This mobile tour is something the brand does when they send experts out on the road, rolling into various cities and asking customers and the curious to bring along their makeup bags. The Make Up For Ever team of experts will "make them over" and give them lessons on how to use their tried-and-true products in new beauty-enhancing ways, plus offer suggestions for new items that might supplement what they already have. The new Ricci-designed bag will be available to consumers on the mobile tour and then on Sephora.com.
If you want to remake your makeup bag Friday, you can book an appointment on the company's Facebook page. The appointments are 30 minutes and start at noon. And you might even get a glimpse of Ricci -- with, no doubt, perfectly done makeup.
