Harry Potter heartthrob Daniel Radcliffe, 22, is a one-woman man now, madly in love with his girlfriend Rosie Coker. But he's sown some wild oats and admits to sleeping with groupies. But only when he was drunk. OK, there goes his Dan's squeaky clean public image.
He admitted to the Daily Mail: 'I was always very nervous about the groupie thing. You know, you’re going to have to talk to them afterwards, even if it is a one-night stand. I have... I mean, that has happened, but generally speaking I’ve known the person. Apart from a few times when I was drinking.'
Radcliffe has since quit drinking and has talked openly about being inebriated on the set. He credits his girlfriend, whom he met on the set of the last Potter film where she worked as a production assistant, for being 'very understanding' and 'incredibly adaptable' and 'far too good for me'.
Radcliffe isn't shy onstage. He appeared totally starkers onstage in Equus on London's West End and on Broadway In New York. In Radcliffe’s new film, The Woman in Black (based on Susan Hill's gothic horror novel by the same name) he wears very proper buttoned-up authentic Edwardian costumes designed by British costume designer Keith Madden.
The film follows a young widower and lawyer in 19th century London who is sent to a remote Yorkshire village to sort through a dead woman’s papers. Black -- #2 at the box office on opening weekend -- is reminiscent of the 1960's Hammer Studio classic horror films and it was filmed at the spooky Layer Marney Tower in Essex, England.
