Eva Longoria rarely has a hard time getting fashion attention; but if you're going to be positioned between your two besties who happen to be Kate Beckinsale and Victoria Beckham -- both well known for their sartorial flash -- what do you wear if you're hosting a pre-Oscar party? The pint sized fashionista co-hosted a charity event on Thursday with Chrysler and Vanity Fair at her restaurant Beso in Hollywood, and of course, invited her best celeb pals - the very best dressed Beckinsale and Beckham.

How does one compete with these two gorgeous British fashion lovers and experts? Beckham wore her own label's cobalt blue dress with a Peter Pan collar from the fall 2012 collection that she just showed in New York last week. Great dress and great color on her.

Still, these two are as steep a fashion competition as it gets. Longoria's little -- and we mean very little -- dress, with its littler decollete, is by New York duo Cushnie et Ochs. So the motto of this story is: The most colorful thing you can wear is your own body! Particularly if it's the product of much work and working out!
