Fred Segal To Open at LAX's International Terminal in 2013
Happy New Year's indeed: One of L.A.'s best purveyors of clothes, accessories and beauty products will be the keystone of shopping at LAX's Tom Bradley International Terminal in 2013.
As you're travelling out of the country this holiday season, you might just stop to think: 'I forgot to get a gift for cousin Jessica!" -- or -- "I forgot my black eyeliner" -- or even -- "Damn, I'm going to need a better dress for the New Year's Eve party." Well, as of spring 2013, you'll no longer have to worry about what you forget to pack for your international trips -- say, to the Cannes Film Festival this May. That's because Fred Segal will open a 2,200-square-foot retail space in the international terminal, which will be the largest retail space there outside of duty-free.
The store will feature both men's and women's apparel, including a signature denim bar, swimsuits, jewelry, beauty products, books, art and accessories. Definitely great for housegifts for friends abroad, and to grab an extra swimsuit on the way to your St. Tropez holiday.
60 million travelers fly in and out of LAX every year, which will certainly expose the Fred Segal name and shopping experience to a whole new world - literally.
Most recently, the company announced that Fred Segal will roll out retail stores and e-commerce in Japan next fall, and it will be the exclusive retailer at the SLS Las Vegas luxury resort opening in 2014.
