Georgia May Jagger and Mother Jerry Hall Model in Mother's Day Ad for Sunglass Hut
Mick Jagger's model daughter has included her boyfriend and her mother in her campaigns for the eyewear retailer
Celebrities as brand ambassadors for sunglasses is nothing new. Consider the 'Who's That Behind Those Foster Grants?" ads from the 1960s. The famous faces back then were already iconic names, including Anita Ekberg, Vanessa Redgrave, Woody Allen, Peter Sellers, Mia Farrow, Julie Christie, Raquel Welch and Terence Stamp.

But these days the celebrities seem to be getting less – how shall we put this – well-known. For instance, Mick Jagger’s daughter Georgia May Jagger, 20, is Sunglass Hut's new model. The face of Hudson Jeans and Madonna’s Material Girl clothing line, Georgia May will also be in the Just Cavalli fragrance ad in the spring. Surely you knew that.

And she's already brought her boyfriend -- musician/model Josh McLellan — who plays in her brother's punk band, Turbogeist — into the ad campaigns. Of her beau's involvement, she says: "It’s quite fun to throw in people I know."

And for an upcoming Mother's Day online-only ad, Jagger's mother, 1970s supermodel Jerry Hall, also joined her in front of the camera at LA's Milk Studios. The mother-daughter duo wore cat-eye sunglasses from Luxottica brands Vogue Eyewear and Tiffany & Co.
“We had a fun time; we got to hug a lot,” Hall told WWD. “Georgia’s so busy, so it was nice to spend so much time together." As for her modeling skills, she praised her daughter: "She's so good already. The best modeling advice I’ve given her is to be on time and be nice to everyone."
