'Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' Designer Trish Summerville Plans a Mikael Blomkvist Menswear Line (Exclusive)
Daniel Craig's Scotch & Soda jeans fit the actor so well that the costume designer gave him several pairs to take home.
Trish Summerville, the costume designer for David Fincher's The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, has already designed a capsule collection of women's clothes based on Rooney Mara's Lisabeth Salander. The H&M clothing line - full of dark punky hooded separates, belts and boots with with subdermal implant touches, shredded sleeves T's, snug leather jackets and skin tight jeans -- will hit the U.S. H&M stores exclusively on Dec 14, just one week before the hotly anticipated film opens.

But Summerville told Fash Track exclusively that she also wants to do for a menswear collection based on the looks she designed for Daniel Craig's character, disgraced journalist Mikael Blomkvist.
"I would love to do a line based on Herr Blomkvist," says Summerville. "His clothing was as fun to do as Rooney's. His character was really great to dress. I love the layering of the wrinkled shirt, vest and cardigan. He has a chic but natural look, a casual elegance. i hope I get to do something with a menswear line because I really enjoyed dressing Daniel."

Craig, who wears designer Tom Ford eveningwear, suits, dress shirts, ties, casual knits, accessories and exclusive eyewear in the new Bond film Skyfall (due out Nov. 2012) took a few pieces from Tattoo to wear in his real life. "I gave him a couple of pair of Scotch & Soda because they fit him so well," Summerville said. "They looked like they were made for him. Everyone on the set -- girls and guys -- would ask him who made his jeans."
