Golden Globes Fashion: Jessica Chastain, Rosario Dawson Wear Matching Baby Blue Gowns (Poll)
Pale colors were all the rage on the red carpet. Guess we'll have to wait until the Oscars for those hotly anticipated bold hues.
So you're a Golden Globe nominee and you think you've selected a unique hue -- a pale blue gown -- for the Golden Globes carpet.
No such luck.
Zero Dark Thirty best actress nominee Jessica Chastain's aqua gown was the same color as Rosario Dawson's dress, which also happened to be a little more figure-flattering than Chastain's.
Ouch.
Dawson's was fitted with a slight peplum effect. But Chastain's Calvin Klein creation was a classic halter style with a bodice that drooped a bit too much. Not exactly an uplifting red carpet moment for the award-winning actress.
Still, the color was a hit on a carpet that was bereft of all those bright cheerful hues we were led to believe were going to be all the rage.
All we saw was a lot of red, black, with pale pinks, aquas, whites and metallics. Yawn. Guess we'll have to wait until the Oscars for those hot colors.
So tell us: Whose aqua gown is your favorite?
