Grammys 2013: Carly Rae Jepsen Lives Her 'Fairy Tale Moment' in 'Little Mermaid'-Inspired Dress
The "Call Me Maybe" nominee compares her Roberto Cavalli gown to a scene in the Disney film while adhering to CBS' modest dress code.
The comparison might not be immediately apparent, but for Carly Rae Jepsen, her glittering Roberto Cavalli strapless gown harkened back to a Disney classic.
"You're going to laugh at me," said Jepsen with a sheepish smile, explaining the inspiration behind her look for the evening. "It's the Disney moment where Ariel steps out of the water and she has legs. That's what the dress was for me -- I'm like, 'I got legs!'"

The Little Mermaid comparison is a fitting one, as Jepsen lives her "fairy tale moment" as a two-time Grammy nominee less than one year after her infectious hit "Call Me Maybe" hit the U.S. airwaves in 2012.
"You know those moments in your life where you walk through it and as you take every step you're thinking, 'This is going to be a memory that I hold onto forever,'" she mused. "So I'm really trying to hold on to that as I go through and not stress and just kind live in it."
