Indie Spirit Awards 2013 Fashion: Zoe Saldana Stuns in Stripes
Zoe Saldana does graphic stripes right at Saturday's Independent Spirit Awards
As soon as we saw Zoe Saldana step on to the carpet at the Indie Spirit Awards on Saturday, we admittedly gasped. While bold, graphic stripes are a definite trend this spring (Oscar de la Renta and Marc Jacobs are among those who showed them on their spring 2013 runways), Saldana gave the look refreshing new life with a green and white textured Dolce & Gabbana dress that we love.
The piece was a standout at the awards show, which is known for having interesting fashion due to the young, artistic talent who attends. Though the look wasn't casual by any means, Saldana's minimal use of accessories was perfect for a daytime event. And allowed the garment's contrasting stripes — and their wearer— to really shine.
