He also cuts the hair of Jennifer Meyer Maguire, Toby Maguire's jewelry-designer wife. McMillan, a native Californian, works out of his own salon on Burton Way in Beverly Hills.

It sounds as if McMillan is already doing his new job. “I have clients who have had really damaged hair, and I’ve given them the Restore shampoo and conditioner along with a really good haircut," he says. "Two months later, when they come back, it’s unbelievable — their hair has grown an inch and a half. It looks healthy. It looks shiny.”
