Jennifer Aniston Is Now Co-Owner of the Living Proof Hair Care Line
Fair-haired actress takes a stake in company, will also work to develop new hair care products.
Well, it's about time. Jennifer Aniston has the most envied -- and most imitated -- hair in Hollywood since her days as Rachel on Friends. So why has it taken her so long to attach herself to a hair care product line?
It seems that she wasn't content to be simply a talking head.

The proof: Word that Aniston is now the co-owner of Living Proof, the Massachusetts-based hair care company, with her photo and quotes prominent on a special section of the brand's website.
“Jennifer embodies everything we stand for – a unique combination of beauty and brains,” says Jill Beraud, the company’s CEO. “She not only has the most fabulous hair but is an amazing creative talent, and has shown she is a savvy businesswoman with a serious interest in developing small, innovative companies.”

"What caught my attention about Living Proof is the company’s unique approach to hair care – using scientific technologies to offer women actual proof in a bottle rather than hoping for results. Over the years, my hair has been subjected to everything...blow dryers, flatirons, curling irons, color, extensions, you name it,” Aniston says on the website. “After using these products, I felt like I finally discovered a solution that works every day."

Aniston will "actively build" the Living Proof hair care business, with a role including brand development and helping direct marketing. That's not to mention collaborating with leading stylists (perhaps her mane man L.A. hairstylist Chris McMillan?) and scientists on new product ideas.
