Justin Bieber Wears Overalls To Accept Award From Canadian Prime Minister (Poll)
The pop star has been criticized for his farmhand attire but he explains that he met the Canadian Prime Minister backstage at a hockey arena.
Justin Bieber has caught major flack for a fashion faux pas this weekend.
He turned up to meet Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper in Ottawa, wearing overalls, a white T-shirt, a rapper-esque silver chain and a backwards cap, with bright yellow sneakers.
And the meeting wasn’t exactly a casual affair.

While photographers captured the historic moment, Harper bestowed the Canadian pop superstar with a Diamond Jubilee Medal.
Gawker swiftly dubbed Bieber the "White Trash Prince." And he was actually booed at the half time show at the 100th Grey Cup in Toronto shortly after his Farmer in the Dell appearance.

Bieber defended and explained his unusual fashion choice on his Twitter.
"The pic of me and the Prime Minister was taken in a room in the arena where i was performing at that day," he explained. "I walked straight from my meet and greet to him, if you . . .expect me to have a change of clothes let a loan [sic] a suit at that specific time that's crazy, It wasn't like it was like I was going into his environment we were at a hockey arena. Wow am i ever white trash."
