Kanye West Brings Kim Kardashian to Chanel's Tribeca Film Festival Artist Dinner
The rapper takes the reality-TV entrepreneur as his date to the stylish event in downtown Manhattan.
The whirlwind romance between Kanye West and Kim Kardashian seems to be getting serious: on Tuesday night, the label-loving duo made a public statement of coupledom when they arrived together to the Tribeca Film Festival Artist Dinner, hosted by Chanel.
The triple-VIP party, held at the Odeon restaurant in New York City, also summoned the star wattage of Naomi Watts, Liev Schreiber, Liv Tyler, Twilight's Kellan Lutz, fashion darling Alexa Chung and model Karlie Kloss, among other boldfaced names.
But when West and Kardashian showed up, bypassing the red carpet, a swarm of cameras and reporters descended upon them, yelling, "Kanye! Kanye!" His response: "Hey, what's up?"

Inside the event, the pair appeared to be in good spirits, mingling with other partygoers. Kardashian, her hair slicked back in a high ballerina bun, wore a sleeveless black-and-white dress that hugged her va-va-voom curves.
"Karl's one of my favorite designers," she told THR of the brand's iconic leader, Karl Lagerfeld. "Chanel's one of my favorite designers. I'm wearing Chanel tonight. I think her (Coco Chanel), as a woman, she was such a smart businesswoman with her fragrances and everything. She's really inspirational as a person. And I love the brand, I think it's really sophisticated and chic."
On Monday, Kardashian and West sparked headlines when she brought him as her date to the opening of sister Kourtney Kardashian's beau Scott Disick's restaurant RYU in downtown Manhattan. Afterward, they headed over to a dinner for New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony at the see-and-be-seen hotspot Catch.

Meanwhile, Kardashian has much more to celebrate besides a new beau: her family's reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, was just renewed by E! for another three seasons. As for West, he was spotted in the Middle Eastern nation of Qatar last week filming a music video with Kid Cudi.
"It’s going to be approximately 30 minutes long, in between a long form music video and short film,” a source told THR of the hush-hush project. "Kanye conceived the story, which is set in the Gulf. It’s supposed to showcase the beauty of the region, a piece that’s culturally sensitive and embraces the customs and traditions of the region."
One thing West isn't secretive about: his affection for Kardashian. He was smitten enough to pay tribute to her in his new song, "Way Too Cold," where he confesses his love and bashes Kris Humphries, aka Ex-Mr. Kim Kardashian, in the process.
