While Kate Middleton's fashion tastes run from high to low, she prefers to spend her downtime in accessible styles from Reiss and the British chain Whistles.

Some critics complain that Middleton, who could summon any high-fashion designer she wished with a wave of her royal hand, should use her status to her advantage -- and dress like a real princess.
Karl Lagerfeld, the maestro and myth behind Chanel, disagrees.
"Then people would say they spent too much money, you know? We live in a strange world," he told THR during a gala he co-chaired at the New York City's Museum of Modern Art to honor photographer Gordon Parks.
When asked how he would dress Middleton, given the opportunity, Lagerfeld demurred: "She looks perfect, there's nothing I have to change! I think she looks beautiful."
As for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, rolled out in London with multi-day festivities, the outspoken French designer commended Great Britain for a solid 2012.
"Great advertising for England! They Olympic games and (the Jubilee), they have a great year," he said.
Lagerfeld, meanwhile, is busy juggling his various Chanel duties with his photography and other projects, and he credits his organizational skills and professional support system for being able to pull everything off.
As for what Chanel will present for July's couture show in Paris, Lagerfeld said: "This is too early! We don't know yet because I don't know myself."
