Kate Bosworth Bucks Trend at LACMA Art + Film Gala in 1950s Frock

But Kate Bosworth went to a different decade altogether: the '50s. Her butter-toned Erdem spring 2012 dress fit tight in the waist, then flared out in the skirt -- and there were no other women in this silhouette at all.

But it suited her to a T; she played the perfect Hitchcock blonde. Hitchcock would have approved of this look, that's for sure. It's complete Tippi Hedren or, better yet, Kim Novak in Vertigo or Grace Kelly in Rear Window.
