Dueling Divas: Katy Perry and Beyonce Have a Fierce Fashion Face-Off (Poll)
The music icons both go for color in contrasting ways wearing designs by Stephane Rolland and Marchesa
Award-winning performers Beyonce and Katy Perry are unquestionably the music world’s hottest divas. And they both have their own unique and very recognizable styles, both on-and-off the red carpet and the stage.

Beyonce, 30, has always favored long slinky gowns. It’s rare to see her out of an hourglass shape gown, often with a flattering fishtail flare hem. She certainly hasn’t let giving birth to her daughter, Blue Ivy, change that.
The singer used to soley wear designs created by her mother in their collaborative House of Dereon fashion line but she's now branched out to include designers such as Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Armani.
At the recent BET Awards, Beyonce shimmered in a chartruese silk gown with a bold graphic black belt, designed by Stephane Rolland and accessorized with Givenchy shoes and Lorraine Schwartz diamond and titanium earrings.
Perry, 27, always goes for the unexpected and has recently been changing up her cartoony Pop Tart image with some distinctly period styles and high fashion creations from international designers such as Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Temperly London.
And at the recent London premiere of her new film, Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D, Perry wore a vintage inspired white Marchesa frock (from their Fall 2012 collection) with glitzy gold embroidery and a flirty chiffon flounced hem. She accessorized with a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes.
And she also added her own humorous touch with pair of patriotic red, white and blue false eyelashes.

Those are the colors for both the British Union Jack and the U.S. flags. So it's unclear which country she was paying tribute to. Maybe both.
