Kardashian Christmas Cards Through the Years, From Hell's Angels to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Photos)
The reality TV family's 2011 card was deemed cold, calculating and downright creepy. But check out their past holiday photo antics.
The Kardashian family's 2011 3D Christmas card has been criticized for looking too formal, cold and creepy with a decidedly Tom Ford fashion editorial edge and, let's be honest, a smidgen of American Horror Story, to it.
But there's a long history of contrived Kardashian family holiday cards. So, in an effort to counteract the sniping, Khloe Kardashian has taken a trip back in time to show some of her favorite awkward Kardashian Christmas moments. She's even opened up the complete family album on her blog for all to see.
She writes: "Hi dolls!!!! Who’s getting excited for Christmas?! ME ME MEEEEE!!!!! LOL. In the spirit of the holiday, I thought it would be fun to share all of our family’s old Christmas cards. This Harley Davidson themed one will forever be my favorite haha."
"Family matriarch 'Kris Jenner has always been one to go ALL OUT. My sisters and brothers and I used to get annoyed by her holiday enthusiasm when we were younger, but now I’m so glad we have these silly cards and memories to look back on!'
Another memorable card was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Santa photo -- so late '80s. Predictably, as the years and the holidays roll on by, the photos become more theatrical and glam. But one card has a poignant greeting on it: "Life is not measured by how many breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. May you be blessed with many breath-taking moment."

When the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality TV show begins, the fashion show begins in earnest: dresses get snug, low-cut and glamorous, the hairdos are more polished and all the girls' figures are gym-toned. The family's 2009 card featured new additions, with pregnant Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe's husband, Lamar Odom, and even producer Ryan Seacrest made a surprise appearance.
Kim Kardashian said of the 2010 snap: "This year was extra special because we had a new addition to the family… little Mason! We went super glam this year and each went for our own look. Kourt chose a tailored suit to match Mason and Scott, Khloe went for gorgeous peach ruffles and I chose a floor-length white gown. How stunning do Kendall and Kylie look!? This might be my favorite of all our family."
