She became the face of the French fashion house's new fragrance a few months ago, but until this week, only one image featuring the actress had been released.

And a Balenciaga commercial for the scent released in July did not feature the actress, not even for a split second, causing some to assume she was out of a brand ambassador gig.

But New York magazine's blog, The Cut did a little digging and discovered that the time stamp for the release of the video was July 19.

That means it was released a week before the photos of the actress making out with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, hit the tabloids.

Well, Balenciaga has now released a new image from the actress's ad campaign in Spanish Elle magazine.

In the ad, Stewart wears a black and white striped shirt, matching the top of the fragrance bottle, with her trademark tousled hair and a burst of brightly colored tropical flowers near her.

Her ongoing relationship with Balenciaga is not a surprise to fashion and film industry insiders. They say that Stewart's image will not be tarnished by one incident and her popularity will continue to grow, as evidenced by the ongoing support from her fans on Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites.
