Met Ball Spoiler Alert! Kristen Stewart, Scarlet Johansson Fashions Revealed Ahead of Gala
If you're wondering what the fashion famous will be wearing to the May 7 Met Ball, wonder no more.
As we write this post, it's about 6 p.m. in New York, and celebs of all fashionable walks will start arriving at the Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute Ball any minute. Called "Schiaperelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations," it's being hosted by Miuccia Prada, Anna Wintour and Carey Mulligan. Now, right off the bat, we know the newly-married Carey Mulligan will be wearing a custom Prada gown.

But a number of fashion houses sent out very early press releases. They must have had some hard cold evidence that these people were wearing their brand, because often, people change looks at the last minute. But for the moment - SPOILER ALERT FOR FASHION FANS - here's a look at what we've received in terms of premature press releases from the fashion houses:
Nicolas Ghesquiere of Balenciaga is attending with Kristen Stewart, who will wear a Balenciaga gown. Also in Balenciaga will be the L.A. County Museum's Michael Govan and his fashionable wife, Katherine Ross, who works with Balenciaga in Los Angeles.
Scarlett Johansson, who's got a whole new status from the gargantuan box office of The Avengers, will be wearing Dolce & Gabbana, as she appears in their beauty ads. Amy Adams is ostensibly wearing Giambatista Valli, a favorite of her stylist Cristina Ehrlich. Renee Zellwegger is said to be wearing a black Emilio Pucci. In fact, we hear there's a lot of black in the works, and not as much shocking pink - Elsa Schiaparelli's favorite color - as we expected.
Tory Burch's people sent out a release saying that Brooklyn Decker will be wearing a knife-pleated slate blue silk tulle and crepe gown with hand-embroidered floral appliqués. Rashida Jones, who just wore a Tory gown to the White House correspondents dinner, will be wearing a drop-shoulder cream silk chiffon gown with hand-painted and hand-beaded flowers. Model Liya Kebede will be wearing a dark jade sequined silk column gown with peplum detail. And Tory Burch herself will be wearing a ivory silk tulle and organza gown with hand-embroidered coral orchid appliqués.
Tommy Hilfiger's office says he will dress Dee Hilfiger, Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard, Ronnie Wood and Sally Humphreys.
