Liberty Ross Hits 'Lawless' Premiere and Party, Without Her Wedding Ring (Video)
There is an unsettling similarity between Rupert Sander's estranged model wife and his "Snow White" star Kristen Stewart, both in their physical appearance and their personal style.
Director Rupert Sander’s wife Liberty Ross turned up at the LA premiere of Lawless last night, looking fabulous in a green silk blouse, black leggings and high boots. But her wedding ring was MIA.
She seemed to be in a great mood, according to People and was there to support her screenwriter pal, Nick Cave. She even went to the afterparty at Eden nightclub but was besieged by paparazzi when she left.

She has posted a photo of a bird in flight on her Vogue UK blog, which many feel indicates that she is planning to fly free and wing her way out of Sander’s life.
But who is Ross and what do we know about the woman whose family was split apart by her husband's very public infidelity with Kristen Stewart? Her NY Mag Model Page reveals her career trajectory but here's what we were able to find out:
The London-born model, who has a decidely boho chic fashion sense, was spotted in 1991 on Portobello Road at age 13 by Corrine Day, the photographer who also discovered Kate Moss. But Ross already been modeling for years: at 7, she had appeared in a Tiffany’s ad and at age 9, she was on the cover of an Ozzy Osbourne album.
She became the face of Guerlain, Jimmy Choo and Sonia Rykiel, and shot prestigious campaigns for Jil Sander and Burberry. At 25, just three years older than Stewart is now, she was no. 8 on the British list of "Richest Models Under 30." She became one of fashion lensman Mario Testino's favorite models.
She's done many fashion magazine covers, including British and Russian Vogue, and German Marie Claire. She's considered such a beauty in Great Britain that the Daily Mail even published her beauty secrets. She also had a small role in Madonna's 2011 film, W.E.
STORY: How Kristen Stewart's Apology Backfired (Analysis)
She began dating Sanders, her brother’s friend and then an advertising director, in her late teens and married him at age 24. Two kids later (daughter Skyla and son Tennyson), Sanders popped up in the U.S. tabloids making out with his Snow White star, who is eleven years Liberty’s junior.
Adding salt to the wound, there is a very creepy similarity between the two young women, so much so that Ross played her mother flashback scenes of Snow White. Both have fair skin, light eyes and slender faces. Stewart’s brown hair was dyed black for the role which made her look even more like Ross during the filming.
Both women wear punky, edgy clothing, sheer tops, and short skirts. Ross favors cut-offs and often wears her beloved Balenciaga black leather jacket. Coincidentally, Stewart is Balenciaga’s newest face and wore the house's gown to the On The Road premiere at the Cannes in May. Oh, and Ross also often wears Converse sneakers, just like KStew does.
Ross’s first public reaction to the scandal on Twitter was “Wow.” Followed with a Marilyn Monroe quote “Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”

But the singe of betrayal has got to run deep. Turns out Ross had actually heartily endorsed Stewart for her husband’s film after seeing her in Sean Penn’s 2007 film, Into the Wild. She’d never seen any of the Twilight films.
“She’s got something very transfixing about her,” Ross told the Daily Mail about Stewart at the film’s May premiere. But over 31, 269 YouTube viewers of Ross's Damaris lingerie short film (below) would say the same thing about her.
