Celebrities have gotten their hands on some new baubles that transition from day-to-night seamlessly. St. Kilda Jewelry features a wide variety of different jewelry styles for even the most have-everything fashionista. Madonna, Olivia Wilde, Eve and stylist Arianne Phillips are fans of the line, which was founded in 2004 by Brooklyn-based Nora Kogan, who was born in Odessa and studied goldsmithing at the Northern Melbourne Institute of Technology.
St. Kilda is comprised of earrings, rings and necklaces from each of Kogan’s different collective styles: signature, wedding, enamel, Bengali, skulls ‘n bones, and mens. The designer--who named the line after the seaside neighborhood in Melbourne where she grew up and was initially inspired by the variety of eclecticism and architecture that surrounded her—has fused serpents, birds, and tigers with precious stones, in addition to her enamel and skull collections. Prices range from $100-$17,500.
Madonna has scooped up the LOVE ring in diamond pave, which she wore to the W.E. premiere in New York, and Wilde favors the Man Ray enameled lips cuff (which retails for $350). The actress was spotted layering them in orange and red at a recent Hollywood event.
"My goal is to design and create beautiful jewelry that outlives trends," says Kogan. With her loyal celeb following, and diverse hand-made pieces, expect her pieces to continue to show up on A-list wrists and ears.
