Olympians Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte, Conor Dwyer Dive Into NY Fashion Week
The gold medal winners navigate the treacherous waters of the New York style scene this week, sitting front row at several shows and surfacing at a Details bash.
Some fashion folks complained that the celebrity contingent was a bit scarce at the Mercedes Benz New York Spring 2012 Fashion Week. So thank heavens for the arrival of -- ta-da! -- the Olympians.
Olympic gold medal winning swimmers Ryan Lochte, Michael Phelps, and Conor Dwyer turned up at the Details magazine party Wednesday night (Sept. 12) in the Big Apple. JustJared has the photos to prove it.

This was just one of many, many parties Phelps has attended in the weeks since he officially retired, became a Louis Vuitton model and started enjoying the fruits of his life's labors to reach his goal of winning fifteen gold medals, 19 medals total. Of course, Lochte is no slouch. He has 11 so far; three silver, three bronze and five gold. And he's not retired.
Earlier Wednesday, Lochte attended the EleVen by tennis pro/fashion designer Venus Williams S/S 2013 presentation, where he cozied up to Miss USA Olivia Culpo and Williams. It was just for a photo op. Don't crank up the rumor mill yet.
Lochte and Dwyer also attended the Milly By Michelle Smith Spring 2013 fashion show at Lincoln Center. But no, they are not dating. They're just homies. Read what she has to say about that.
And there are incriminating photos to prove that Lochte hammed it up with Tyra Banks at the Jeremy Scott NYC show, giving his fiercest fashion pout. He first posted it on Twitter but apparently thought better of it and removed the photo.
Locht and Dwyer cleaned up and turned dapper in Ralph Lauren suits for Lauren's show Thursday (Sept 13). Actually, this isn't the first time they've worn Lauren's wares.

Remember the all-American designer designed the official Summer 2012 Olympics uniforms earlier this year and caught some serious flack for having had them made in China. Nice outsourcing, Ralph.
Better check your jacket labels, guys. Look for a Made in the USA tag.
