In fact, she just posted yet another close-up snap of her super-short undercut platinum haircut, complete with a a punky silver nose ring and bright red lips, wrist laden with chunky silver chains.

"Self love is the greatest of all flatterers," she tweeted.

She also quotes Buddha: "Happiness does not depend on what you have or who you are, it solely relies on what you think."

Fast forward to today. Never one to miss an opportunity to make us laugh, talk show host-comedian-JC Penney brand ambassador Ellen DeGeneres is poking gentle fun at the 19-year-old singer.

"I love Miley Cyrus' new hair so much that I copied it," DeGeneres wrote on her Twitter on Tuesday. And she shared a photo of herself wearing a Photoshopped version of the hairstyle that is now being called "The Miley."

And you know what? It looks pretty darn cute on her.

While some of Miley’s fans have expressed displeasure with her hairdo, her brand new fiancé Liam Hemsworth, 22, loves it. Or he says he does.

"He loves [my haircut]," Cyrus tweeted to one of her fans Tuesday. "Last night he said I look the happiest he's seen me in a while :) he likes seeing my eyes more."

Awwww.
