New York Fashion Week Spring 2013: Ryan Lochte Gets in the Swim of It
The Olympic gold medalist is literally everywhere -- and now turns up in the shallow waters of New York Fashion Week.
Ryan Lochte was on the cover of Vogue prior to the Olympics, but hot off his gold medal performances in London, he seems to have a free pass to attend anything he wants, including New York Fashion Week, where he's covering shows a special fashion correspondent for E!

First, on Wednesday night, he attended the Joseph Abboud mens' show at the New York Public Library, sitting front row withTwilight's Kellan Lutz, Vampire Diaries' Daniel Gillies and Brad Richards of the New York Rangers. The Abboud line has been totally turned around by creative director Bernardo Rojo, who is smart enough to know it would be very smart to dress Lochte -- even if he pairs those insane "Jeah" glasses (sold on the athlete's website) with beautiful Abboud tailoring. The show featured three-piece suits in bright hues of red, blue and yellow, Neoprene motorcycle jackets in similarly daring colors, patent leather rain coats, all paying homage to original L.A. rebel James Dean as well as Drive's Ryan Gosling. We imagine the athlete is also busy taking notes for his upcoming clothing line.
And of course, Lochte had to hit the party trail.

The athlete attended super shoe designer Brian Atwood's party later that night at the Four Seasons restaurant -- he of the skyscraper heels -- and had to be escored upstairs to a private area after almost getting mauled by party goers eager to get their photo taken with the Olympian demi-god. Also spotted: Heidi Klum, Iman, Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton.
