Oscars Beauty: Wavy, Sexy, 1940s Hair
Romantic, Veronica Lake-inspired waves were a red carpet staple at Sunday's Oscars.
Best actress nominee Jessica Chastain’s 1940s-tinged, long, wavy hairstyle was a beauty trend of the 2013 awards season, seen everywhere from the Golden Globes to the Critics' Choice Awards to the SAG Awards. And now, the Academy Awards, too.
Her flame-hued locks looked particularly stunning on the Oscar carpet with her copper Armani Prive strapless gown.
The sexy side sweep also was seen on presenter Reese Witherspoon, courtesy of hairstylist Renato Campora. It complemented her classic cobalt-colored strapless gown by Louis Vuitton.
Zoe Saldana, too, paired a long side-parted 'do with her strapless gradient white Alexis Mabille gown. And as they say, three's a trend.
