Pink is the new face of CoverGirl.
Not a traditional choice for the decades-old beauty company, whose campaign stars include Taylor Swift, Ellen DeGeneres, Queen Latifah and Drew Barrymore, Pink is being positioned as "a powerful and provocative role model, who has always been an advocate of individualism and making no apologies for who you are," Esi Eggleston Bracey, VP and General Manager of CoverGirl, said in a statement. "That combination of irreverence and integrity is exactly what the CoverGirl brand loves about her and identifies with."
Pink's first campaign is due to launch in the fall, but the image, complete with matching pink hair and lips and sky blue shadow, was revealed by the singer herself at an event in Santa Monica on Monday morning.
Pink's sixth album, The Truth About Love, is due out on Sept. 18.
