'Project Runway': Jennifer Hudson Serves as Finale Guest Judge

Jennifer Hudson is the final guest judge on Lifetime's Project Runway this season.
The singer-actress, who next appears on NBC's Smash, attended the show's final runway show during New York Fashion Week on Friday morning, which took place at The Theatre at Lincoln Center. Hudson served as guest judge alongside regulars Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia.
To avoid spoilers, the runway show featured collections presented by all of the eight remaining contestants: Melissa Fleis, Gunnar Deatherage, Christopher Palu, Sonjia Williams, Ven Budhu, Dmitry Sholokhov, Fabio Costa and Elena Slivnyak. Alicia Hardesty was eliminated in Thursday night's episode.
Hudson, a former American Idol finalist and Oscar winner for Dreamgirls, will play a Broadway star in multiple episodes of Smash's second season, which premieres midseaon. She recently appeared on the big screen in The Three Stooges.
