The Belarus-born professional ballroom dancer-turned-designer, who now lives in New York, impressed the judges with his sophisticated, architectural designs throughout the course of the Lifetime reality competition.
Nina Garcia on Wednesday recently told reporters that the judges -- who also included Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and guest Jennifer Hudson -- were all in agreement after the final four presented their collections at New York Fashion Week.
"There was a clear and definite winner," Garcia said. "It was very unanimous, to be honest with you. ... There wasn't so much as a disagreement, or at least I didn't think so."
In last week's episode, Sholokhov revealed that he had lost his lease and was forced to quit his job to continue competing on Project Runway.

Sholokhov’s model, Katt Vogel, also will appear in the designer's editorial feature in Marie Claire and receives $25,000 from L'Oréal Paris EverStyle.
Meanwhile, Lifetime is now gearing up for the second-season premiere of Project Runway: All Stars on Oct. 25.
