SAG Awards 2013: Nicole Kidman Chooses Sparkly Navy Gown, Edgy Straight Locks (Poll)
The Oscar-winning actress, who is having a major career relaunch, changed her hairstyle drastically for the SAG Awards.
Red carpet fashion icon Nicole Kidman was nominated for a pair of Screen Actors Guild Awards: for best actress in a TV show or miniseries for her role as acclaimed war journalist Martha Gellhorn in HBO’s Hemingway & Gelhorn, and for best actress in a motion picture for her role as Charlotte Bless in Lee Daniels' The Paperboy.
But she also made fashion headlines Sunday night for her stunning sheer and blue sequined gown designed by British designer Vivienne Westwood.

However, the most striking change for the Oscar-winning actress was her straight, center-parted hairstyle that looked very hip and fresh. It was a nice change from her long, wavy, big hairdos.
Celebrity hairdresser David Babaii created her new sleek bob with a superstraight look. To achieve it, he started by warming a small amount of IT&LY's Pure Water Drops in the palms of his hands before applying it through the hair.
Next, he dried her hair with a nozzle attachment and a round brush to smooth hair completely straight. He sectioned her hair first: top, sides and back. He dried the nape first and then dried her entire head.
After creating a center part and to ensure sleek perfection, he finished the hair with IT&LY's Racing Red Professional 1" Digital Iron.
We love her new stick straight punky ’do. What do you think of it?
