Sarah Jessica Parker Designs Limited Edition Bracelet for Redline
The actress joined other stars and brands who have designed pieces for the French couture jewelery line to celebrate its 7th anniversary.
PARIS -- Sarah Jessica Parker is walking Redline in Paris with a limited-edition bracelet collection to benefit AIDS research.
Parker is a big fan of the “diamond-on-a-wire” luxury jewelry brand and offered her fashionable touch to Redline’s 7th anniversary charity collection. Redline, from young French designer Laetitia Cohen-Skalli, is famous for its simple diamonds on thin red strings thought to symbolize good luck. The “practically unbreakable” red string has certainly brought luck to young designer Cohen-Skalli whose brand has become increasingly popular in France and even boasts fans across borders like Sharon Stone, Linda Evangelista and Diane Kruger.
Redline has partnered with an eclectic mix of brands and stars including luxury pastry house La Duree, Luxor champagne, celebrity make-up artist Fred Farrugia, singer Imany and kids’ brand Soeur to create limited edition bracelets to benefit the charity.
Logo house Smiley has also designed a unique smiley-face bracelet with 469 diamonds that sells for 16,000 euros. French AIDS foundation Sidaction’s bracelet made of thread and silver sells for a more reasonable 25 euros. Parker’s bracelet features a pink thread with pearls, gold and diamonds and will sell for 575 euros.
While Parker herself didn’t make the trip across the Atlantic, Redline hosted a chic cocktail to celebrate its 7th birthday at the Plaza Athenee in Paris on Tuesday night.
