It looks like Sofia Vergara didn't overindulge this holiday season, perhaps in anticipation of the upcoming Golden Globe and SAG Award red carpets.

The Modern Family actress showed off her svelte shape Thursday by tweeting a photo of herself wearing a very daring swimsuit on a boat in Miami.

Her black and white suit by Agent Provocateur features sexy side cutaways. While it's not a great suit for sunbathing (tan lines), it certainly makes for a great swimsuit shot for her fans, along with the greeting “Holyday.”

Not bad for 40. Heck, not back for 20.

Vergara is spending the holiday in Miami with fiance Nick Loeb, her mother and other family members.

This is not the first time Vergara has given her fans a sneak peek. During the Emmys this year, Vergara took a picture of her thong after her dress split.

Vergara recently filmed some steamy scenes with another hot actress, Sharon Stone, for the film Fading Gigolo. She wears black lace lingerie, and the scene takes place in a bedroom.

But she denies any same-sex stuff. No lesbian loving, she told Extra: “Somebody I don’t know thought it was more interesting to write, 'Oh, Sharon Stone and Sofia Vergara, they have to have like a lesbian scene.' "
