Sofia Vergara's Dress Split Accidentally Exposes Her Backside (Photo)

Sofia Vergara came thisclose to finally getting some attention paid to her body.

The sassy Colombian Modern Family actress, who has become perhaps Hollywood's leading sex symbol, was already a hit on the red carpet for her sparkling Zuhair Muhad cross-strapped dress and its generous display of her famed chest assets. Then the rest of her body decided it wanted the spotlight.

Following the show, Vergara tweeted a series of photos detailing a near-wardrobe malfunction involving her rear end. Her dress split in the back, exposing her cheeks and barely-there thong, and she had to rush to get some help in sewing it together. Of course, this being the age of social media all access (and Vergara having nothing to be ashamed of), she tweeted out a photo of the dress issue anyway -- in all its glorious detail.

"Yes!!!! This happend 20 min before we won!!!! Jajajajja. I luv my life!!!!" Vergara tweeted, one of her many happy dispatches from the night.

No, she may not have won the Best Supporting Actress Award, but she has plenty of reason to celebrate, anyway.
