A Conversation on 'The Americans,' The Year of OJ, Emmys and More

Daniel Fienberg and Alan Sepinwall have a candid conversation on many things from recent TV.

'OJ: Made in America'

This past week was the fifth installment (or "season," to use their parlance) of the ATX Television Festival, a terrific event in Austin that saw no fewer than four THR favorites either covering panels, moderating panels or sitting on panels.

On a semi-slow Saturday afternoon, I sat down with HitFix's Alan Sepinwall for a TV-based conversation that definitely was not an installment of our long-running Firewall & Iceberg Podcast. As such, we're not posting this in the Firewall & Iceberg feed.

It's just a low-fi, no-frills chat about all manner of recent and upcoming events between two long-time friends and professional colleagues, though I suppose some of the references, tangents may confuse some non-Firewall & Iceberg listeners. Sincere apologies!

We hope you enjoy!

The breakdown:
OJ: Made in America (02:15 - 13:45)
Emmys (13:45 - 25:25)
Game of Thrones (25:45 - 30:15)
Horace and Pete (32:25 - 38:00)
The Americans finale (38:35 - 50:10)
The Fate of Stat Phoebe Tonkin (51:00 - 52:20)
