3D Movie Rereleases: The Hits and Misses

Following a moderately successful rerelease of Toy Story and its sequel in 3D, Disney's wowed moviegoers with its 3D version of The Lion King, raking in a whopping $177.6 million in grosses worldwide. And the 3D rerelease of Titanic took in a massive $285.7 million internationally and $343.6 million globally. Still, sometimes the risk of bringing a beloved pic back to the big screen doesn't quite pay off (see: Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo). With Steven Spielberg's dino drama Jurassic Park roaring into theaters this weekend, will it be a win for Universal?
