The 39th annual American Music Awards took place Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Nokia Theatre. Before the performance-heavy show, music's biggest stars -- from Justin Bieber to Katy Perry and Taylor Swift -- walked the carpet on a rainy Los Angeles afternoon.
