Colton Dixon, 20, from Tennessee, might not yet have a record deal but he has written two songs with Lifehouse's Jason Wade as well as material with former Evanescence keyboardist David Hodges and Shinedown collaborator Dave Bassett.
Colton Dixon, who sang "Meant to Live" and "Never Gone" during the iHeartRadio Live concert on Aug. 29, recently told THR that the season 11 group's favorite activity on tour is to "find the mall and walk around. Either that or sleep. Sometimes we’ll gang up and catch a movie."
Last season, mentor Jimmy Iovine was one of Joshua Ledet's biggest fans -- along with judges Steven Taylor and Jennifer Lopez. Still, the soulful Louisiana native came in third behind Jessica Sanchez and eventual winner Phillip Phillips.
"I would have never thought that I would have been on national television and making it to the top three out of 200 thousand people," Joshua Ledettold THR after his season-11 elimination. "It was the greatest experience ever."
If you're a Joshua Ledet fan, and still think he was robbed of the season-11 title, refresh your memory on why he should've won. (Reason No. 1: Like Randy "Broken Record" Jackson said, Ledet could sing the phone book.)
The late '90s teen heartthrob was more than just the star of the "Fast & Furious" films -- he got an early start as a child actor and worked on a diverse group of projects, from Shark Week to Disney movies. View gallery
