'American Idol' Season 12 Finalists' Hometown Visits

Candice Glover arrived to a family meal after she landed in her hometown of Beaufort, South Carolina. On the menu: fried chicken, her grandma's macaroni and cheese, her mother's tuna salad, and a cake decorated with the words, "In It To Win It." "Time with my family was amazing," she shared. "I laughed until I cried. I haven’t laughed that hard in, like, four months."

Candice Glover started her day bright and early with a radio interview at Habersham Marketplace, a local grocery in her home state of South Carolina , where she received a pecan pie. The finalist tweeted her appreciation, writing: "Yo I got to the radio station and they had a pecan pie waiting. The South. #CandiceComesHome"

After a 45-minute medley of songs including Alicia Keys' "Girl On Fire" and The Cure's "Lovesong," South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley surprised the Idol finalist by declaring May 4th as Candice Glover Day throughout the state. Local fans cheered and asked for autographs as the top 3 finalist made her way through the crowds of people who showed support.

For Kree Harrison's return to southeast Texas, the town pulled out all the stops including a homecoming parade, where the top 3 finalist told local attendees she's "in it to win it!"

Kree Harrison performed at the Tyler County Rodeo and later at nearby Beaumont's Ford Park Arena where she sang The Beatles' "With A Little From My Friends" and an emotional rendition of Carrie Underwood's "See You Again" in honor of her late parents.

Kree Harrison's first stop for her hometown visit was a press conference at Woodville United Methodist Church where she received a warm reception from Mayor Ben Bythewood who welcomed her home after 13 years. Shortly after, Harrison, along with family and friends, shared a crawfish boil.

American Idol frontrunner Angie Miller visits Massachusettts' Centerville Elementary School, her local grammar school, to reunite with her former teachers and say hello to the students. Many fans wore the now-famous black and orange “Team Angie” T-shirts and held signs and posters for their hometown star.

Angie Miller visits a local radio station, Kiss 108FM, during her hometown visit in Beverly, MA. "When you dream big enough, anything can happen," she said during the interview. “It’s definitely a crazy ride and it all happens quick and my life has changed so much in the past two months but it's been amazing.”

Angie Miller's hometown is 25 miles from Boston, which is still recovering from the Marathon Monday bombings of April 15. In Beverly, Mass., Miller received a warm homecoming from residents who came out in droves to a concert held at Beverly High School. There, the top 3 finalist sang "Titanium" and "Love Came Down."
