American Music Awards 2012: The Nominees

Rihanna and Nicki Minaj lead this year's pack of contenders with four nominations a piece, though they are trailed closely by Drake, Justin Bieber, Maroon 5, One Direction, Katy Perry and more. This year also marks the introduction of a new EDM category, with three of the genre's innovators vying for the trophy. The show will be broadcast live via ABC from L.A.'s Nokia Theatre on Nov. 18.
