Chanel Chic at MoMA Film Benefit

It was a fashionable crowd led by Blake Lively, Sarah Jessica Parker and Emma Stone all wearing Chanel at the Nov. 15 gala honoring director Pedro Almodovar (The Skin I Live In). The Parisian fashion house sponsored the star-studded evening at NYC’s Museum of Modern Art -- it was the fourth annual MoMA Film Benefit. Chanel’s creative director, Karl Lagerfeld is a longtime friend of Almodovar — he created costumes for 2009’s Broken Embraces (starring Penelope Cruz) and 1991’s High Heels (one of Javier Bardem’s first films). Lagerfeld, who flew in from Paris to support his filmmaker friend, was joined by Vogue’s Anna Wintour (in Chanel).
