The former Nick star, who hasn’t acted since 2010’s Easy A, was arrested for a DUI in 2012 after sideswiping a police car; two months later she was charged for two alleged hit-and-runs. In July 2013, she was put on involuntary psychiatric hold after a fire-related incident in Thousand Oaks, California.
Feldman’s meteoric rise as a child actor was bolstered by a series of hits, including Gremlins, The Goonies and Stand by Me. But plenty of trouble came along with that fame, as revealed in Feldman’s 2013 autobiography, Coreyography. The actor had serious substance abuse problems, went to rehab and alleged that he and other young actors in Hollywood were sexually abused.

While making the Star Wars prequels, Portman was studying at Harvard. She later won an Oscar for her role in Black Swan and currently is shooting her directorial debut — an adaptation of Amos Oz’s A Tale of Love and Darkness — in Jerusalem.
After playing Opie Taylor on The Andy Griffith Show and Richie Cunningham on Happy Days, Howard went behind the camera: His directorial résumé includes Apollo 13, The Da Vinci Code and A Beautiful Mind, which earned him a best director Oscar. He now says he would like to act again.
The Disney Channel series Even Stevens was LaBeouf’s big break; movies such as the fourth Indiana Jones and the Transformers franchise followed. His meltdowns, while not nuclear, have been public: run-ins with the law for fighting and DUI-related incidents, and a bout with plagiarism. LaBeouf ’s career isn’t totally tainted: He’s making the World War II drama Fury with Brad Pitt.
