Best actress and supporting actor in a drama series nominees Claire Danes (Homeland) and Jon Voight (Ray Donovan) were once part of the cast of John Grisham's The Rainmaker. In the 1997 movie adaptation of the best-selling novel, starring Matt Damon, Danes plays an abused wife who forms a connection with Damon's young lawyer, who faces off in court against a villainous insurance lawyer, played by Voight.
