THR Celebrates Emmy Nominees at Star-Studded Party
The Hollywood Reporter helped kick off Emmy weekend with its Nominees Night party. Tina Fey, Matthew Weiner and the "Scandal" cast were among the A-listers who gathered Sept. 19 at Soho House in West Hollywood for the soiree, sponsored by Samsung Galaxy, Asos, Porsche, Pandora and Ketel One.

Tina Fey and Eric Stonestreet
30 Rock's Tina Fey mingles with Modern Family's Eric Stonestreet, last year's Emmy winner for best supporting actor in a comedy. Fey, meanwhile, is nominated for best actress at this year's awards, while her show is up for best comedy.

Allison Williams
Allison Williams' HBO series, Girls, is nominated for best comedy. "It's the second time around," she told THR of the Emmys. "I know a little more what to expect. I have a little Girls pride on my fingers, so I'm pretty excited," she added, referring to her manicure.

The Breaking Bad creator will be seeking his first Emmy statuette Sunday, with his AMC hit up for outstanding drama series. The series wraps up Sept. 29. Gilligan said it was "amazing" to be nominated as his show was ending. "We're even luckier to have one more shot at it. Because for it to end, to go off the air, in the midst of this season 5A, as we call it, excitement is great," he said. "It's just wonderful. It's the cherry on top."

The two funny ladies struck a pose inside THR's Emmy Nominees party. Williams told THR of her pre-Emmy ritual: "I'm staying at a hotel that has incredible truffle fries. It's now a tradition that we order the truffle fries before Emmys. What else? It's usually just music and chaos. It's really fun. It's dress up and then hanging out with people I love. What could be better than that?"

Gregg, who will reprise his Avengers role of Agent Coulson in ABC's upcoming series Agents of SHIELD, brought actress wife Grey to the bash. “One of the fun things, and the annoying things, about doing something Marvel is that it's completely in a vacuum and a bubble, and you finish acting in a scene and they take your pages and they put them in a shredder, I swear to god," Gregg revealed of the company's secrecy surrounding its projects.

Of his Emmy day ritual, Weiner told THR: "I used to have more superstitions, but as it's gone on I've kind of been like, 'Is this unrelated to my work?' You know what, honestly, it's just a matter of calming down, getting excited to see everybody, and for me I feel so lucky to get to go. It doesn't happen to everybody."
