Hollywood's Twitter Feuds
Ashton Kutcher engaged in a Twitter war with New York's Village Voice over child prostitution and sex trafficking. The actor took the paper to task after it attacked his "Real Men Don't Buy Girls" public service campaign. Ashton's war of words with the publication is the latest in a long line of battles that have taken place over the social networking site. THR recaps some of Hollywood's other unforgettable feuds.

"Dear Fox News, Don't play our music on your evil f**king channel ever again. Thank you." the Maroon 5 frontman protested Oct. 19. While the news channel didn't respond, some of its anchors got into the fray, firing insults back.

Writer/director Johnson chose the Up In The Air writer/director to wage a faux Twitter war against to up his name recognition. After tweeting a few jokes at Reitman (who responded by posting a link to Notorious B.I.G.'s song "Warning"), Johnson launched into a series of tweets detailing a supposed Mexican adventure.

"I love that I'm getting crap without even passing comment or giving my opinion of the program. MORONS!" the American Idol executive producer wrote of his followers after users tweeted to him about The X Factor.

@Aplusk is a powerful tweet handle. With more than 7 million Twitter followers, the future Two and a Half Men star wields enormous influence online -- the LAPD has even asked him to tweet about an upcoming freeway closure to help warn L.A. residents about it.
New York's Village Voice newspaper learned about the actor's web power the hard way on July 1 when American Airlines pulled advertising from the publication after Kutcher tipped the company off via Twitter to the paper's racy classified ad section, which promotes escort services.

Two and a Half Men showrunner Chuck Lorre was on the receiving end of a barrage of tweets from Charlie Sheen earlier this year after Sheen was fired from the CBS series in March.
The most catchphrase-worthy of Sheen's tweets coined the phrase the "Troll Hall of Fame." Sheen wrote, "#Adios2&aHalf without me it's like Zeppelin without Plant. The Doors without Jim. C Lorre just elected into the Troll Hall of Shame. RT”

Never one to quell her opinions, Bethenny Frankel engaged in a war of words with fellow Bravo star Rachel Zoe.
While watching The Rachel Zoe Project, Frankel tweeted some nasty comments about what she deemed "a bunch of BS." Zoe responded in kind, citing a long friendship and calling Frankel's comments "inappropriate."
Of course it didn't stop there. The ladies then went on to accuse each other of being "vicious" and treating friends "like garbage" in a series of posts. Say what you will about reality TV, these personalities bring the drama both on and off screen.

Joan Rivers took Lindsay Lohan to task during her infamous court appearance in which she sported a manicure reading "F*** U." The outspoken comedian wrote, "Lindsay Lohan is so dumb, her idea of being sworn in is cursing at the judge." Lohan's former girlfriend, Sam Ronson, responded with cracks about Rivers' age and plastic surgeries.
Undeterred, Rivers continued to tweet faux messages between herself and "Lilo" during Lohan's stint in jail.
"J-Ro: Plan to be outta here soon. Gonna shop, party and sleep in my own bed… as soon as I get this last bar off the window. Xo LL," read one of the tweets. -

This is the kind of Twitter war we like to hear about. Adam Levine engaged in a little friendly trash talking with teen sensation Justin Bieber after a heated basketball match. The duo faced off on the court with a few friends, including manager Scooter Braun, with Levine pulling off the W.
"@scooterbraun, is this the part where i tell the world that @justinbieber can play ball? we shut him down though. #DEFENSEwinsgames."
Bieber shot back with, "@adamlevine u know what really happened unite. only reason u guys won any games was because @scooterbraun shot 3's in @kennyhamilton's face."Boys will be boys, we guess.

It's no surprise that the outspoken rapper has gotten into his share of online scuffles. After feeling ambushed on a Today Show interview with Matt Lauer, West cancelled an upcoming performance and took to Twitter calling the show a "set up." He's also had tiffs with Lily Allen, Britney Spears and called out 'gold diggers' via the social networking site.

Do not mess with Lady Gaga. Do not joke about her, do not compare her to Madonna.
That's the message her Little Monsters sent to Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney after he jokingly tweeted on June 5, "I still can't get over madonna's performance at the grammy's this year! She was born that way!" and "Madonna is killing it!" after her Saturday Night Live gig.
Fans responded angrily, calling Carney "an ugly ass bitch," comparing him to "the kid in the wheelchair on Glee" and even threatening him with bodily harm. Carney retweeted some of the more colorful posts including: "@patrickcarney HEY LOSER LEAVE @ladygaga ALONE AND GO TO HELL CHILD" and "@patrickcarney who the *uck are you? Never heard of you before pressed irrelevant douchebag."

James Franco had harsh words for one Yale classmate, who used the school's publication to criticize his lack of Twitter skills.
So, naturally, Franco took to Twitter to post a photo of himself with the words, "F*** the Yale Daily News" scrawled across it. He has since deleted his account.

Among a few minor feuds, Chris Brown had one war of words turn scary when death threats became involved. The R&B Singer had it out over the microblogging site with former B2K member Raz B, who called him into question for allegedly mistreating Rihanna. Homophobic remarks were thrown and eventually, death threats from Raz B's brother, Ricky Romance. Brown quickly issued an apology, stating that he does not "condone or represent violent acts against anyone."
Brown's comments had been in reference to Raz B's recent claim that he was molested by a fellow group member and relative. Not a good look. -

What started as a seemingly harmless tweet from Chelsea Handler, resulted in a realization that Nick Cannon is seriously lacking a sense of humor.
"I just heard nick cannon is starting a comedy tour. Who's going to do the comedy?" she posted.
The America's Got Talent host fired back with a slew of remarks, deeming her "Tasteless," and calling into question her means for landing her late night talk show on E!. He claimed that the shots were all in the name of comedy -- but who exactly found them funny? -

The L Word actress Leisha Hailey sparked controversy after tweeting that Southwest Airlines had kicked her off a flight. Hailey claimed that after kissing longtime girlfriend, fashion designer Nina Garduno, a flight attendant "said that it was a 'family' airline and kissing was not ok." The couple was then escorted off the plane for "getting upset about the issue."
Hailey went on to add, "@SouthwestAir endorses homophobic employees" and "Boycott @SouthwestAir if you are gay. They don't like us."
