Making Spectacles of Themselves: Stars With Nerdy Eyewear

It seems everyone is wearing glasses to look smart. Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett and Kristen Stewart add gravitas to their style with thick, tortoiseshell frames — reminiscent of the vintage 1970s eyewear in Ben Affleck's "Argo" — taking their cues from early-adopters Robert Redford, Johnny Depp and Bill Nighy. Looking studious (and having help with reading Teleprompters) has never seemed so stylish.
