Netflix's 10 Most Rented Movies of All Time
Netflix, the popular DVD and streaming entertainment company, has had a brutal summer with angry subscribers, falling stock prices and increased competition. But despite all that, it's still a popular service with 24 million subscribers. The company reports these 10 films are the most-rented in its history.

10. No Country For Old Men (2007)
The Coen Brothers' movie won four Oscars, including Best Picture in 2008. Spanish actor Javier Bardem also took home an Oscar for his chilling portrayal of the killer Anton Chigurh in this adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's novel.

9. Iron Man (2008)
Robert Downey Jr. charmed his way into major box office with this superhero blockbuster.

8. Inception (2010)
Christopher Nolan's science fiction film starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ellen Page, excited audiences with it's complex, mind-bending plot.

7. Sherlock Holmes (2009)
Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law recreated two of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's most famous creations, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson in director Guy Ritchie action adventure updating of the material.

6. The Departed (2006)
Director Martin Scorsese's acclaimed movie won four Oscars in 2007, including Best Picture. Scorsese took home one statuette for Best Directing. Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and Jack Nicholson starred in the crime thriller.

5. The Hurt Locker (2008)
This 2010 Best Picture winner about bomb U.S. Army bomb defusers in the Iraq war, made director Kathryn Bigelow the first woman in history to win an Oscar for Best Directing.

4. The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttom (2008)
David Fincher's film about a man born old and ages in reverse was a change of pace for the director primarily known for ultra dark thrillers. Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton starred.

Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman starred in the emotional comedy drama directed by Rob Reiner.

2. Crash (2004)
Race and class in modern day Los Angeles got put under the microscope in director Paul Haggis' sprawling drama starring Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, and Thandie Newton.

Sandra Bullock won her first Oscar for this drama directed by John Lee Hancock.
