Before the slime hit the fan, stars posed for photos and signed autographs on the "orange" carpet (which was actually purple and yellow). The Saturday, March 23, event was hosted by Josh Duhamel and held at USC's Galen Center in downtown Los Angeles. Johnny Depp, Kristen Stewart and Katy Perry all won big at the celebration.
Adam Sandler took home the trophy for favorite voice from an animated movie for his Hotel Transylvania.

The Hunger Games actor Alexander Ludwig told THR he was hoping that his agent and publicist would get slimed at the ceremony.
The Hunger Games actress Amandla Stenberg was also on hand for the event. The film was up for two awards, winning the honor of favorite book.
YouTube sensation Austin Mahone told THR "I will do anything I can to get slime on my sweater."
Mahone is currently working on his debut album and will soon be embarking on tour with Taylor Swift. "There's gonna be a lot of songs that are like my current single, I'm gonna have some ballads that will make you cry, plus some cool collaboration," he said of his new album. "I'm trying to get a collaboration with Lil Wayne, but still working on that. He's gotta get healthy first."
Disney's Shake It Up star Bella Thorne was on hand for the event.

Douglas will soon appear on Disney XD's Kickin' It!, but tells THR she's also open to following in Ryan Lochte's footsteps with a potential reality series. "It's definitely in the back of my mind," she said. "I'm looking into it."
Asked what makes a good role model, Douglas replied: "I think a person that stays true to themselves and encourages young girls to stay in school and fight for their dreams."
Danica Patrick won the award for favorite female athlete.
Disney star Debby Ryan chose a cutout Topshop design. "I call it the sunroof dress," she joked. "For the KCA's you have to go accessible and fun. And it's a great color!"
Dwayne Johnson accepted the blimp for favorite male buttkicker for his role in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island opposite Vanessa Hudgens and Josh Hutcherson.
Lakers star Dwight Howard got slimed on stage.
Fergie flaunted her baby bump on the red carpet as she was on hand to support husband Josh Duhamel, who hosted the ceremony.
X Factor alum Fifth Harmony took a break from recording their debut album to attend the Kids' Choice Awards.
The ladies were shocked to find out that their mentor, Simon Cowell, was up for the favorite villain award. "He's not a villain! He's a nice guy!" laughed Lauren Jauregui. "I'm not gonna lie, when I was watching American Idol when I was younger, I was like, 'I could never audition for him!'" said Normani Hamilton. Added Jauregui: "That was my biggest fear. That he would say, 'You're horrible.'"

Aside from a TV show in development with Nick Cannon, Crow is currently recording for her role in Rio 2 -- for which she is also working on an original song. "It's actually a really amazing experience," she said.
