'Pacific Rim' Premiere: Big Robots Bring Out the Big Stars

The Pan's Labyrinth auteur co-wrote and directed the aliens vs. robots saga that he hoped would honor the kaiju genre, which refers to the Japanese science-fiction films featuring unnatural creatures of immense size.
