Hollywood 'Mocktresses' Cash In on Their Clotheshorse Style

A mocktress is a newfangled model/actress who gets magazine covers, is seeded a constant flow of designed clothes, and who often gets paid for public appearances and tweeting about brands. She stands to make a bigger chunk of her income from fashion-related activities and promotions than movies or TV, but her fashion celebrity is rooted in the fact that the public relates better to actresses than models: they're more interested in their lives, they're three dimensional and relatable –- and over age 17.
